The Vietnam’s plastic manufacturing industry has had to spend billions of US dollars on an annual basis to import raw material, equipment and machinery, local manufacturers revealed at a meeting Tuesday.

Năm 2006, HTX thủy sản Trung Hải với 8 thành viên được thành lập kinh doanh cái nghề “hên xui” bậc nhất là nuôi cá lồng bè trên biển. Qua 5 năm, khu bè cá trên vịnh Nha Trang ở khu vực Hòn Một, P. Vĩnh Nguyên, TP Nha Trang, tỉnh Khánh Hòa đã phát triển lên 120 ô lồng nuôi, gấp đôi so với khi mới thành lập, mỗi năm đưa ra thị trường 70 tấn cá sống, doanh thu 8 tỉ đồng/năm, đạt mức tăng trưởng hàng năm trên 20%. Ông Trần Quang Đức, Phó Chủ nhiêm HTX cho biết: “Nghề này không quá khó nhưng rất… hên xui, muốn làm phải có máu… liều”.
